Job Title: PRN Hospice Chaplain
We are seeking an experienced and credentialed PRN Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families during end-of-life care. This is a PRN (as-needed) position — not full-time. Hours are based on patient census and scheduling needs.
Requirements:
- Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent required
- Formal chaplaincy training (CPE or equivalent) required
- Chaplain certification or eligibility per state guidelines
- Minimum one (1) year hospice or healthcare chaplain experience required
Responsibilities include:
- Providing spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and families
- Conducting spiritual assessments and care planning
- Offering grief and bereavement support
- Supporting patients during crisis and end-of-life moments
- Working collaboratively with the hospice care team
Additional Requirements:
- Strong communication and compassionate presence
- Knowledge of community spiritual and bereavement resources
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
