Lake Attendant
Angel Fire Resort is now hiring for Lake Attendants to join our team this summer. This position provides customer service and lake access to patrons of Monte Verde Lake, tracks and maintains rental equipment, and monitors lake activity. In this position, you will provide excellent customer service to guests, prepare and manage rental equipment such as boats and watercrafts, and follow all policies and procedures. A successful candidate will be at home in an outdoor environment and will strive towards providing guests with fun and meaningful experiences.
Base Pay: Starts at $15/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Greets guests and provides warm, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service
- Assists guests in the rental of boats; schedules rental, accepts payment, and prepares watercraft
- safely help load and unload guests from boats, provide life jackets and other boating equipment
- Ensures that boats are properly stowed and cleaned in storage at the end of day
- Performs minor repairs to dock, cleans bathrooms, picks up trash and keeps lakefront area clean and free from hazards
- Patrols perimeter of lake to ensure that customers have fishing permits and rules are being followed
- Restocks and labels items for sale
- Operates point of sale system by ringing out tickets, successfully accepting payment, issuing receipts, and making change as needed for cash transactions
- Ensure that customers complete the appropriate release of liability for the activities they are participating in
- Notifies guests of weather-related closures
- Assists with projects and events as assigned by the Monte Verde Lake manager
