Angel Fire Family Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. We utilize the most recent technology and focus on providing high-quality, personalized care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be willing to train to have a solid understanding of all aspects of dentistry and a passion for excellent patient care. They’ll enjoy working as part of a team and building relationships with patients in order to provide the best possible experience.
The working schedule would be Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm.
Experienced assistant is desired, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and maintain positive patient relations by responding to patient questions and requests
- Prepare patients for treatment
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials as needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Capture diagnositc radiographs
- Take impressions
- Perform other lab tasks as necessary
- Maintain clean and organized dental office and operatories
- Educate patients about oral health care
- Clean and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Perform other duties as requested by dentist or hygienist
