Position Overview

Angel City FC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager of Soccer Operations to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Soccer Operations, the Manager of Soccer Operations will serve as the connecting point between players, staff, and daily team operations.

The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting players and staff, and is ready to contribute to a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of Angel City away travel, including but not limited to: player & staff communication, creating itineraries and team schedules, hotel, ground transportation in collaboration with internal staff.
• Manage and facilitate all aspects of Angel City home games, including but not limited to: visiting team liaison and coordination, coordinating the stretcher crew, and operational first team logistics timing and communication.
• Manage player onboarding/offboarding in collaboration with Player Care Manager, including booking flights in/out of market, rental cars, and internal communication with staff on logistics.
• Manage daily training schedule and communication via Teamworks with players and staff–the main point of contact for all things scheduling and communicating the impacts of adjustments.
• Manage trialist administration, communication and travel logistics in and out of market in compliance with league rules.
• Ensure ACFC compliance with all NWSL league guidelines, including SafeSport requirements
• Lead projects as assigned by the Director of Soccer Operations or other Management staff within the ACFC organization
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in club operations
• Strong background in sports operations (soccer experience preferred)
• Background in team travel and management
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Professional and positive presence to represent ACFC both internally and externally
• Deep understanding of how to support athletes and staff members
• Work well within a collaborative, team-driven, and goal-based environment
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and team leadership
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise tasks, discretion, and sound judgment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• High EQ and the ability to relate to all levels of staff, management, players
• Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and occasional holidays
• Availability to travel to all away games and attend all home games

Compensation

In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $90,000 to $100,000.
