Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and community outreach
- Conduct client consultations to assess insurance needs across health, life, property casualty, and commercial lines
- Present insurance options clearly and persuasively, emphasizing benefits and coverage details
- Negotiate policy terms with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service, regular communication, and personalized support
- Stay informed on industry trends, insurance products, regulatory changes including HIPAA and other compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid state license as an Insurance Producer
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client bases
- Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance products essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM system platforms for sales management
