Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for all Human Resources functions at Angel Armor. This role partners with the CEO and leadership team to attract, develop, engage, and retain exceptional talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HR Manager leads initiatives in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness to build a high-performance culture that supports Angel Armor's mission and long-term growth. This position does not have direct reports, but will partner with and oversee 3rd party payroll and benefits administrator relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Promote a positive employee culture by living our core values.
- Develop strong partnerships with all levels of assigned departments to be viewed as a trusted advisor and provide high touch support.
- Act as a consultant to guide partner department leaders through employee relations issues, compensation analysis, and other HR best practices.
- Manage employee relations issues and conduct internal investigations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policy and employment laws.
- Partner with leadership team to support, facilitate, and communicate messages, tools, training, and other related HR offerings to all employees.
- Support department leaders to determine department hiring needs and partner with recruiting to ensure seamless hiring practices.
- Assist with the coaching and development of employees within partner departments.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of various employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Manage workload accordingly to provide timely responses, proactive communication to partner departments, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Complete HR administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage HR projects throughout the year, as assigned.
Job Specifications
The equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities may be accepted in lieu of education and/or degree requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered
- Minimum of six years of experience in human resources including strong hands-on experience in all aspects of HR administration is required
- Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) or Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing organizations preferred.

- Comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions including but not limited to employee relations, recruiting, legal compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, training and development, and strategic planning
- In-depth knowledge of interviewing practices and techniques
