Job Summary:
Overview:
- We are a company that provides full service of distribution and stocking for an extensive line of housewares to supermarkets. The role of the [Distributor] is to distribute and stock the merchandise for our clients (supermarkets) in the tri-state area. Regions include the five boroughs, Connecticut and Westchester. As a distributor you will ensure deliveries are transported safely to their destinations and then proceed to stock it on the designated shelves or racks. This role is a crucial part of our business, as it facilitates the ability for our clients to receive their merchandise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive our company vans and deliver our merchandise to its destination as per daily route sheet.
- Revise order with the store manager and pack out the order as per company guidelines.
- Collect checks or cash from clients according to instructions on the daily route sheet.
- Regularly revise sections to ensure they are clean and maintained to company standards.
- Gradually learn and study our inventory order sheet in order to write orders for the stores.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: No previous industry experience required although stocking or merchandising experience is welcome.
- Skills:
- Demonstrate basic math skills such as percentages, subtraction, addition, division and multiplying.
- Demonstrate basic reading skills.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate and interact with clients on a professional level.
Requirements:
- English AND Spanish speaking.
- Driving license in good condition.
- Ability to provide your own transportation and report to headquarters for work daily.
- Residing within 10 miles of company headquarters is preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions:
- Some lifting of boxes and loading/unloading is required daily.
- Hours of work for this position are 6:30 am – 4:30/5pm (ending times vary depending on traffic conditions).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary for this position is $900 weekly in the training phase. Salary is paid via payroll checks. Anfasales does not offer cash for salary payment.
- After training is complete and the trainee demonstrates the ability to distribute, stock and write orders on their own, higher compensation will be discussed and accommodated pertaining to candidates' skill level and advancements.
Holidays and Time Off:
- One week paid vacation after the first work year. Two weeks paid after two years.
- 5 personal paid days off per year - Commences after 6 month probation period. (Personal days cannot be taken consecutively as a "vacation")

- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
