Role Description
This is a remote contract role based in Kirkwood, MO, with the flexibility to work from home for most tasks. As an Independent Contract Travel Planner, you will coordinate and manage travel arrangements for clients, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and personalized itineraries. You will be able to provide exceptional customer service, liaise with vendors to secure competitive pricing and arrangements, and address any questions or issues during the travel process. Supporting the Anew Travel team, you will handle administrative tasks and contribute to the success of client trips, whether for leisure, corporate, or group travel.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Experience in travel planning, group travel coordination, and corporate/incentive trip planning
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems, managing contracts, and negotiating vendor agreements
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with a client-first approach
- Knowledge of international destinations, travel regulations, and travel industry best practices
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Prior experience as a travel advisor or working with host travel agencies is a plus
- Certification from a recognized travel association or completion of a travel advisor training program is advantageous
