Anew Healthcare and Rehab is looking to add team members to our facility! The facility is under new management and has created an excellent work environment, competitive pay, and great coworkers. As a certified nursing assistant (CNA) you are responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
CNA job responsibilities
• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
• Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
• Assisting with meals
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Providing comfort and care

Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in Kansas.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
