Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. Duties
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood learning, including preschool and toddler care activities
- Lead daily classroom routines, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment that encourages exploration and discovery
- Monitor and support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management strategies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregivers to promote teamwork and high-quality care
- Conduct regular assessments of children's growth using observation techniques aligned with childhood development standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings, especially with toddlers
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting that involve nurturing young children is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports children of diverse backgrounds and needs
