Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Anesthesiologist based in Roanoke, VA. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients, monitoring their vital signs, and ensuring their safety during medical procedures, surgeries, and pain management treatments. Additional responsibilities may include collaborating with healthcare teams, evaluating patients pre- and post-operatively, and providing critical care support as required.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Anesthesiology, including administering anesthesia and monitoring patients
- Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience or knowledge in Surgery and Critical Care Nursing to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Proficiency in Pain Management to provide comprehensive care and address patients' needs
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Anesthesiology
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
