Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our Cardio billing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process for Cardio medical services for specific insurance companies.
Duties
- Review and verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing.
- Manage accounts receivable by following up on unpaid claims and resolving discrepancies.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives regarding billing inquiries and issues.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, and billing systems is essential.
- Experience with medical billing and collection processes, anesthesia background preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance companies.
- Previous experience in a medical billing role or related field is preferred but not required.
