Essential Job Functions
- Prepares patients for examination by performing data collection, taking vital signs, weight/height, and documenting patient health history
- Secures patient information and maintains record integrity by completing and safeguarding medical records, keeping patient information confidential
- Relays information regarding physician’s orders and questions to patients as delegated by physician or licensed staff
- Schedule’s procedures; verifying times; preparing charts, pre-admission and consent forms
- Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards, policies and complying with legal regulations
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Enhances reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities for improvement; establishing new processes to improve compliance

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours in a shift
- Ability to push, pull or lift, up to 60 pounds
Work Environment: Possible exposure to body fluids, including blood, potential exposure to infectious materials, contagious diseases and/or hazardous materials.
