Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for providing anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Day-to-day tasks include patient assessment, administering anesthesia, monitoring patient response to anesthesia, and ensuring optimal pain management. The CRNA will collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during procedures
- Expertise in patient assessment, preoperative planning, and pain management
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and CRNA certification
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (Master’s or Doctorate level)
- Prior experience in perioperative, critical, or emergency care is highly desirable
