Job Title: SAP SSAM - Service and Asset Management
Location: Hybrid -* Omaha - project will require traveling onsite the first 2 weeks of June to lead the workshops to kick off the project.
** Must have;
· IS-Utility experience
· SAP FSM
· SAP SSAM
Travel will be 1 week in July, Aug, Sep, and Oct.
There is some flexibility around the travel after the initial travel in June.
Client Scenario-
Client migrated from ECC to S/4 in 2025. They’re replacing their legacy systems and begin transformation work post brownfield.
Focus of this work is on FSM, Mirata Forms and SSAM.
- We need someone that has significant recent hands-on experience setting up SSAM from Greenfield
- Some that can talk through the steps and applications used to set up MDK
- Someone with experience debugging the front end
- Someone with that is expert with the steps required to extend SSAM front-end
- Someone with experience debugging the back end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing mobile solutions using SAP Service and Asset Management build on Mobile Development Kit (MDK)
- Lead end-to-end technical architecture, design, and development of SAP SSAM and MDK-Based mobile applications.
- Define technical standards, coding conventions, and best practices for MDK applications.
- Review Technical designs, code, and solution proposals from the team..
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK).
- Hands-on experience customizing SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM).
- Strong JavaScript coding skills (Mandatory for MDK extensions).
- Experience with OData services, SAP Gateway, and SAP Cloud Mobile Services.
- Understanding of SAP EAM/PM processes (notifications, work orders, maintenance plans).
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
