Location: Madison, WI (100% Remote within WI, occasional onsite. Must be a WI resident or willing to relocate before joining.)
Duration: 12 Months (1,800 Hours)
Interview: Video (Teams with CISO)
The State of Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to serve as a technical advisor to the CISO while leading AI-driven cybersecurity and DevSecOps initiatives. This is a hands-on role focused on cloud architecture, vulnerability management, security automation, and mentoring internal teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong Cloud Architecture & DevSecOps experience
- Experience advising CISO/CIO or executive leadership
- Security Operations (SecOps) & Vulnerability Management (SI-2)
- Google SecOps, Google Threat Intelligence/VirusTotal
- Mandiant ASM, Tenable.io
- Microsoft Azure Arc
- GitHub & GitHub Advanced Security
- Ansible Tower
- Splunk
- AI Security tools (Gemini, Anthropic or similar)
- Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in large enterprise or government environments preferred
