TIRE TECHNICIAN TEAM LEADER

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Tire Technician Team Leader to oversee our tire service operations and lead a team of skilled technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient tire installation, repair, and maintenance services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, promote excellent customer service, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced automotive environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of tire technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Oversee tire installation, rotation, balancing, repair, and replacement services with precision and attention to detail
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and company policies
• Manage daily workflow to maximize productivity and minimize vehicle downtime
• Conduct quality control checks on completed services to guarantee customer satisfaction
• Maintain inventory levels of tires, tools, and supplies; coordinate ordering as necessary
• Inspect equipment monthly, report any repairs and/or replacements needed to the Shop Manager.
• Actively work tire, and tire related jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer inquiries professionally

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in tire service and vehicle maintenance
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy tires and equipment safely
• Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to pass background checks and adhere to safety standards; prior supervisory or leadership experience is essential for success in this role.
• Familiarity with sales processes related to automotive parts and services is a plus
