We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Tow Truck Operators to join our team. This position includes day and evening shifts, with on-call responsibility one night per week and on-call coverage every other weekend with commission and overtime opportunities.
No towing experience? We offer paid training for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow trucks to recover and transport vehicles in various conditions
- Conduct situational diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery or repair approach
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, professionally, and empathetically with clients during stressful situations
- Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure safety standards are met and maintenance is up to date, including compliance with applicable regulations and driver log requirements.
- Confirm service details and pricing are accurate and properly recorded.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility during down time.
Qualifications
- Must live in the St. Cloud area (within 15 minutes of shop)
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Able to pass drug screen and DOT physical requirements
- Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills
