Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving beer, wine and cocktails, and receiving payments at the store register. This role requires experience with duties such as customer service, cleanliness, bar service, cash handling and teamwork. This position works closely with the back-of-house team to ensure all orders are consistently correct and that we are always exceeding guest expectations.

• Customer Service
  • Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional hospitality
  • Go above and beyond to resolve guest issues
• Cleanliness
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Follow all cleaning procedures, schedules, and checklists
  • Follow appropriate food handling procedures and standards
• Cash Handling
  • Accurately and efficiently check out guests
  • Ensure accuracy of all cash drawers and follow appropriate procedures
• Bar Service
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all beer, wine and cocktail options served in the store
  • Ability to follow recipes and batch cocktails
  • Ensure all products received are rotated, and stocked appropriately and all UPCs scan correctly in the POS
• Teamwork
  • Collaborate with coworkers to provide a best-in-class experience for our guests
  • Help to achieve the goal of being every guest’s “Favorite Neighborhood Pizza Shop”

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Availability on weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior bartending experience
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to take direction
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Square POS
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
