What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Store Retail Associate - Full Time position at Andy's Music Inc.?
Andy's Music is searching for motivated individuals who are outgoing, polite, and punctual. The primary responsibilities of a Music Store Associate are to assist clients with the following responsibilities in person, online, over the phone, or through email and text messaging.
- Selling - musical instruments and accessories
- Renting - band and orchestra instruments
- Assessing - instruments dropped off for our Service Department
- Enrolling - sign up new students for lessons at Andy's Music
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience
- Present or past experience playing a musical instrument is required

Physical Demands & Work Effort
- Possess the ability to be happy, excited, enthusiastic and on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
- Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit, climb stairs or a ladder
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work Mon. through Sat.
- Typical work hours are from 9:15 AM - 6:15 PM.
- Typical work week includes four weekdays and Saturday.
