What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Shipper & Receiver position at ANDY MOHR?
Reports To: Parts Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for the day to day shipping and receiving duties, including freight company relations and warehouse operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Receive shipment, confirm shipment is accurate
Distribute received shipment to warehouse or appropriate Department
Receipt of invoice for Inventory purposes
Pick, stock and restock inventory
Shipment of all packages via UPS, Fed EX and all other applicable methods
Ensure quality control procedures are followed
Assist in housekeeping duties including but not limited to: recycling materials, collecting/disposing of trash
Assist in inventory functions including but not limited to: cycle counts, physical inventories and warehouse organization
Interact with freight companies to provide the best freight solutions for the business
Process applicable paperwork including but not limited to: freight bills, packing slips and bill of ladings.
Qualifications:Fork Lift Operator Knowledge Required
Basic knowledge of computers
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Willingness to learn
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence through determined spirit
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a Pre-employment physical
