At Andy Mohr Automotive Group, we rely on our IT systems to service our customers and stay connected. We’re seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join us, using their technological skills to make us even more efficient and secure. In this role, the support person will oversee IT systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network infrastructure, and industry trends to keep us on the cutting edge. Engaging with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an immediate impact on the efficiency of our operations and overall growth.
Objectives of this role
- Travel from store to store to maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Help our team with day-to-day operations via help desk ticket or in-person
- Upgrade systems as needed such as replacing old hardware with new
- Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Windows, and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones
- Checking in daily at stores
- Implement applications and network upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
- Train employees in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed
- Maintain printers by replacing ink cartridges and imaging kits along with other maintenance issues
Qualifications
Required skills and qualifications
- Two years of experience in IT
- Deep knowledge of operating systems, active directory and networking
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or equivalent experience
- Computer or Networking A , CCNA or any professional certificate
- Knowledge of Voice over IP (VOIP) PBX phone systems
- Must have a valid driver's license
