Collision Estimator
Andy Mohr Automotive Group is one of the largest volume car dealership groups in the state of Indiana. Mohr’s goal is to Sell and Service in volume. Andy Mohr dealerships are stocked with large inventories that are priced very competitively. The Andy Mohr Automotive group employs more than 1100 employees throughout central Indiana and the employees are value-oriented. They are honest and straightforward and get customers in and out efficiently.
Body shop estimator position will require a minimum of 5 years experience writing or reviewing estimates. This could be in a previous role as an insurance re-inspector, adjuster or body shop estimator or manager. Working knowledge of the Reynolds operating system would be helpful but not required. Working knowledge of Audatex or CCC1 estimating systems would be helpful but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
- Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
- Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
- Increase profitability by maximizing sales & execute retail promotions.
- Responsible for overseeing the technician working on customers’ vehicle including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
- Oversee and participate in quality control.
- Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Accredited training in estimating skills, customer satisfaction and quality control.
- Automotive Collision estimating experience.
- Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient use of computers/business machines
