Retail Security Officer - Mid Shift (Part-Time)

Twin Cities Premium Outlets – Eagan, MN
PAY:
$19.00/hour

SCHEDULE:
Mid Shift: Approximately 20–30 hours per week. Schedule varies based on business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security & Patrol
- Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity
- Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic
- Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems
- Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation
- Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures
- Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Inspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues, etc.)
- Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner
- Provide directions and support as needed
- Maintain a visible, approachable presence on-site
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- State Guard license is required.
Preferred
- Prior security or customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with CCTV, alarms, or access control systems

- High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
- Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation. Minimum 3
- - 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.
