What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages in their homes, according to standards of practice outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, consultation, and family/caregiver instruction to support communication goals.
- Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare providers to support each patients goals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document progress, reassess regularly, and update goals to promote meaningful communication outcomes.
- Promote family involvement and education to reinforce therapy techniques outside of sessions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (or CFY in progress)
- Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
- Current CPR Certification
