What You’ll Do:
- Conduct wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor healing.
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and advanced wound therapies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, therapists) on wound management.
- Educate patients and families on wound prevention and care in the home.
- Document and track patient outcomes using evidence-based wound care practices.
- Provide consultations in community, home, and acute care settings as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in nursing and certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- One year of recent clinical nursing experience required.
- Current R.N. license in the State of Maine.
- Current CPR Card.
- WOCN or equivalent wound care certification (required)
- Must have a reliable and insured automobile and have a current Maine driver’s license.
- Independent malpractice insurance strongly advised.
