What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate hearing function by administering and interpreting audiological tests
- Diagnose type and degree of hearing loss and prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports
- Provide treatment plans, including hearing aid fittings, assistive devices, and patient education
- Counsel patients and families on hearing health and device use
- Maintain audiology equipment and ensure functionality of related software
- Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
What You’ll Bring:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.)
- Current Audiology License in the State of Maine
- Experience in hearing-aid dispensing, fitting, and counseling for pediatric and adult patients.
- Strong diagnostic skills, including comprehensive audiologic evaluations and appropriate follow-up care.
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care partners.
- Ability to manage the full continuum of hearing care, from assessment to device management and long-term support.
- Collaborative approach with clinical partners and confidence using EMRs for accurate documentation.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.
