Position Overview:We have an immediate opening for a Road Service Technician. This role involves maintaining and servicing diesel, gasoline, and gaseous engines, generators, and associated controls from all major generator manufacturers. Knowledge of engine-driven alternators and automatic transfer switches is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position requires significant customer interaction, so excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel, gasoline, and gaseous engines and generators.
- Service and maintain associated controls of all generator manufacturers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure efficient operation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate solutions effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of engine-driven alternators and auto transfer switches is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
- Physical capability to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
