What will you do:
As the Hospice House Coordinator, you will help ensure that our Hospice House runs smoothly and that patients, families, and staff receive exceptional support. The Hospice House Coordinator provides essential non-clinical coordination and administrative support to the Hospice House inpatient unit.
In this role, you will:
- Keep daily office operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly.
- Support and assist the Hospice team by managing paperwork, scheduling, and documentation.
- Assists with compiling data and reports
- Serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for calls and inquiries.
- Coordinate communication between team members, leadership, and outside partners
- Maintain office systems, supplies, and basic reporting to support patient care.
- Provide guidance to staff and help ensure consistent processes across locations.
- Contribute to planning meetings, events, and activities that support team and patient needs.
- Provide phone and front desk coverage
What You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or GED; College experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of office or administrative experience, ideally in healthcare.
- Experience with EMR systems, admissions/discharges, and healthcare documentation strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the confidence to take initiative.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

- Weekend availability-schedule does include 1 weekend day
