Job Summary
Andros Engineering is seeking a precision-focused CNC Operator to support our Automated Manufacturing team. In this role, you won’t just be a "machine tender"—you will be a key partner to our Lead, responsible for the setup, adjustment, and high-quality output of our CNC operations.

General Description: Responsible for assisting the Automated Manufacturing Lead with the daily operations of the CNC lathe.
Responsibilities
1. Attend weekly Fabrication Shop meetings.
2. Follow ERP schedule workload unless instructed otherwise by Division Manager or Automated Manufacturing Lead.
3. Allocate their time to the correct Job Number.
4. Communicate any issues that will hinder progress of any given project.
5. Meet weekly goals.
6. Maintain high quality workmanship across all projects.
7. Work independently to manage time, schedule, and prioritize with input from Automated Manufacturing Lead.
8. Effectively communicate with engineering and others to problem solve.
9. Ask questions, clarify instructions, and take constructive feedback in a professional manner.
Required Skills/Qualifications
1. All required Skills/Qualifications for the Machinist Job Description.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. Maintenance of organization and cleanliness of work area.
4. Accurately read and interpret documentation to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
5. Setup and adjustment of tool offsets using a probe.
6. Adjustment of offsets to meet print dimensions and tolerances.
7. Inspection of critical dimensions using standard metrology tools.
8. Ability to recognize tool breakage/need for indexing or changing tools.
9. Proficiency on manual lathe and vertical milling machine.
10. Ability to operate tube plasma cutter.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
