What are the responsibilities and job description for the RECEIVING COORDINATOR position at ANDREWS INSTITUTE ASC LLC?
Responsible for ordering, monitoring, and receiving supplies and equipment for the facility.
Receive deliveries from DHL, UPS, FedEx, and independent shipping companies, including Bill Only PO’s.
Stamp and date packing slips, verify package contents, and note discrepancies or backorders.
Report discrepancies to the Purchasing Charge person for credits or substitute orders.
Notify purchasing leadership of special-order items and deliver them to the appropriate area.
Immediately notify Pyxis Manager/Pyxis RN of pharmacy-related deliveries (to be opened by RN only).
Deliver non-pharmacy products promptly to appropriate departments, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated, freezer, and priority items.
Deliver business office supplies to the business office.
Package and process returns to vendors (credits, consignment, repairs, loaners) and submit paperwork to Accounting. Track all returned items.
Transport and store overstock items according to policy in designated storage areas.
Maintain bulk storage areas in a neat, organized, and dust-free condition.
Keep receiving door and adjacent employee entrance clean, clear, and accessible for deliveries and emergency evacuation.
Assist with vendor check-in.
Monitor par levels of general supplies and complete requisition forms for reordering.
Deliver products to clinical areas using transport carts per facility policy.
Track serial and lot numbers for applicable products.
Participate in annual mandatory educational programs and committees as requested.
Maintain current BLS certification.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in supply chain or healthcare preferred.
Prior experience in receiving, inventory management, or healthcare supply chain strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and transport packages and equipment safely.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
