Full Time Sales Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Full Time or Part Time Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, provides exceptional service, and helps them find the perfect products to meet their needs. Your roles will vary from cashier, stocking, customer service, and more! Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and foster customer loyalty. Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, welcoming customer service to every guest.
• Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
• Stock shelves, coolers, bakery displays, and produce bins throughout the day.
• Rotate merchandise using FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure freshness.
• Inspect produce and remove damaged or expired items.
• Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about our farm, produce, deli, bakery, meats, and specialty items.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses and prepare sandwiches, wraps, and other deli items (training provided).
• Prepare and package baked goods, produce, and grab-and-go items.
• Keep displays attractive, full, and well organized.
• Receive deliveries and assist with unloading and stocking inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, deli, kitchen, coolers, restrooms, and work areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with seasonal displays, CSA pickups, gift baskets, BBQ events, and special promotions.
• Restock supplies and communicate inventory shortages to management.
• Work as part of a team to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support daily operations.

• Previous retail, grocery, restaurant, farm market, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Food handling or deli experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 16 years old (18 preferred for certain equipment and kitchen duties)

Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour
