What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veteran Therapist - Full Time and Part Time position at Andrews Center?
Therapist must have a Master's degree in behavioral science and two-years (2) post-degree professional mental health services experience, including working with seriously mentally ill individuals. Crisis counseling, and commitment evaluation experience preferred. Appropriate state licensure is required (e.g., LPC, LCSW, Ph.D., etc.).They must be familiar in working with PTSD, TBI, and military sexual trauma. They must be certified within one year of taking the position in EMDR, PE, or CPT and certified by TVC in MIC at or within 6 months or contract or hire. Will perform screenings for services, intake evaluations, plan treatment strategies, and implement treatment. Will work as a team member to provide quality care to consumers to meet the needs of the unit and the center.
