Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, pruning, mowing, irrigation, and general site maintenance
- Lead a team of landscapers, gardeners, and maintenance staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
- Oversee landscape construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas for health, safety, and aesthetic quality; implement corrective actions as needed
- Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper operation and timely adjustments for optimal plant health
- Provide guidance on horticultural practices, tree care, pest management, and sustainable landscaping techniques
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on site supervision
- Demonstrated supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, irrigation systems, and gardening fundamentals
- Familiarity with construction processes related to landscape installation or renovation projects
- Leadership skills that motivate teams while maintaining safety standards and quality assurance
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of equipment operation related to landscaping and maintenance tasks
