A growing New York City based boutique architectural & interior design firm seeks to hire a full time Junior Project Architect to work on a variety of high-end residential projects. For the Junior Project Architect’s position in New York City, the applicant must have a minimum of (3) years professional experience working in a residential architectural firm in New York City. Knowledge of custom detailing and design, experience managing shop drawing reviews, and superior AutoCAD skills are required. Experience in and/or experience working alongside Interior Designers is advantageous. Qualified candidates need to be enthusiastic, hardworking, well-organized and highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Candidates will work directly with the firm's principal and project team to produce detailed schematic and conceptual designs, develop construction document sets, and manage all aspects of the projects during construction. Supervision available to assist with completion of NCARB Intern Development Program, if required.
-Professional Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
-Minimum (3) Years of Experience in High-end Residential Design in New York City
-Technical Expertise in AutoCAD, Construction Documents & DOB Submission Sets, and Construction Administration
-Proficiency in Microsoft 365 & Adobe Photoshop; 3D Modeling Advantageous
-A minimum of (2) Professional References
