Job Overview:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our team at Andrea Homecare Group on a part-time or full-time basis. As a CHHA, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their overall well-being. We welcome candidates who speak any language, as long as they have the required certification.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health status.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
Skills:
- Ability to transfer clients safely.
- Experience in home health or community care is a plus.
- Knowledge of catheter care systems.
- Proficiency in activities such as laundering, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in New Jersey is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in any language is welcomed.
Compensation:
- Rate per hour depends on the specific case. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
