Full Description:
Full-time Project Architect that will participate in the design process and oversee the successful completion of projects through construction. An ideal employee in this role should be a creative, design focused, attentive and self-motivated design professional that is able to work in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate should be able to work with direction from the firm principal while also leading and encouraging younger staff and emerging professionals. The candidate is expected to maintain a strong work-life balance while executing projects at a high level with special care towards the technical execution of the designs developed by the firm’s design principal. The ideal candidate must be a licensed design professional.

Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect - any jurisdiction (50 states) in the United States*
- LEED Accredited professional is highly preferred
- 10 years of professional experience post-graduation
- Professional degree in architecture by an accredited NAAB institution
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Revit and Managing projects in BIM 360
- Proficient in SketchUp or Rhino
- Strong knowledge of project visualization and representation of projects
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of creating effective and efficient construction documents
- Knowledge, commensurate of experience, for construction techniques, building codes, life safety, and materials
- Enjoy a rigorous and challenging design studio that enjoys having fun while producing amazing and award-winning architecture
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with a talented and creative design team to help inform the design development of the studio’s projects.
- Work with the firm’s design principal in coordinating the technical performance of each project assigned to the candidate including sustainability goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the entire design team to create the project deliverables including schematic design, design development and construction documents
- Collaborate with other licensed design professionals to oversee the construction administration of the candidate’s assigned project(s)
- Proactively managing the consultant team and adhere to the project deliverable and schedule. Project cost management responsibilities for the candidate’s project(s) will be managed in collaboration with the firm’s design principal
- Apply sound decision-making skills in assisting the project team in moving the project(s) forward through constructability reviews and discussions with the firm’s design principal and other licensed professionals
- Mentor emerging architects in the studio that are on the path to licensure
