What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
● Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration law - Experience may be gained as a licensed attorney or in an immigration-focused role (paralegal, legal assistant, or case manager). Hands-on, practical immigration experience is valued.
● Deportation and removal proceedings ○ Experience in:○Family-based immigration○ Investment visas ○ Adjustment of status and consular processing
● Ability to build and manage a large, active caseload
● Strong courtroom and advocacy skills
● Excellent writing and legal research abilities
● Passion for client service and community impact
License Requirement:
● Must be currently licensed to practice law in Florida
Key Responsibilities
● Provide expert legal advice on immigration matters, including visas, green cards, and citizenship applications
● Prepare and review petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
● Represent clients in immigration hearings and proceedings before government agencies and immigration courts
● Conduct ongoing legal research to remain current on immigration laws and policy updates
● Develop customized legal strategies based on each client’s unique circumstances
● Maintain organized and detailed case files
● Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and interns
● Participate in community outreach initiatives and educational seminars
Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
● Paid Time Off (PTO)
