In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Companionship & Social Support: Conversation, recreational activities, and meaningful connection.
• Homemaking: Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and errands.
• Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Medication Support: Reminders and cueing (no medication administration).
• Mobility & Safety: Assistance with safe transfers, walking support, and fall-prevention practices.
• Transportation: Escorting clients to appointments, errands, or community activities (with valid license/insurance).
• Documentation: Complete accurate shift notes, timekeeping, and incident reports using agency systems.

Qualifications

• Passion for serving others and a heart for supporting the elderly and vulnerable in our community as well as their families.
• Prior caregiving, HHA, PCA or CNA experience required
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid government-issued photo ID.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
• Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if transporting clients.
• Successful completion of background checks.
• At least two professional/personal references.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before client assignment).

Schedule & Pay

• Flexible shifts available (days, evenings, weekends, overnights).
• Weekly pay with direct deposit.
• Competitive hourly rates ($18–$23/hour starting, based on experience and case type).
• Mileage reimbursement when driving clients.
