Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our early childhood education team. The position is designed to give our 4 pre-k classes 30 minutes twice a week of an enrichment experience. This can center around music and movement, STEM, or other areas of interest. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
Experience
- A bachelors degree in any field is required. Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Teaching certification is NOT required for this position.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.

The hours are currently 9:15 - 11:45 on Mondays and Wednesdays, but the schedule is negotiable.
