What You’ll Do
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute security programs across application, infrastructure, and data security in alignment with business priorities.
- Threat Management: Lead proactive detection, response, and threat hunting efforts against nation-state actors, ransomware, and advanced persistent threats.
- Security Architecture: Oversee the design and implementation of secure architectures for cloud, containerized, and on-prem environments.
- Incident Response: Serve as executive lead during major incidents, ensuring rapid containment, remediation, and communication.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) while promoting security-by-design.
- Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, legal, and operations teams to embed security into development lifecycles and company culture.
- Innovation: Champion adoption of cutting-edge security technologies in zero trust, AI-driven detection, and cryptography.
- Talent & Culture: Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams in security engineering, operations, and risk management.
- Experience: 12 years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles across security domains.
- Technical Depth: Expertise in cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevSecOps, cryptography, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, and identity management.
- Incident Response: Proven success leading responses to complex breaches and security crises.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to balance long-term risk reduction with enabling innovation and growth.
- Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, OSCP, or equivalent hands-on and leadership credentials.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to present complex security topics to both technical and executive audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
