Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling opportunities
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restocking supplies as needed
- Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting via phone
Skills
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling procedures
- Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store environments preferred
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Effective phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and team members
