What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overhead Crane Operator position at Andes Coil Processors?
* TOLL PROCESSOR LOOKING TO HIRE OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR *
Shifts may vary -
- 1st shift hours - 4/5am - 2:30pm
- 2nd shift hours - 2:30pm-1:00am
- *Saturdays are often mandatory*
** Minimum (1) year of steel warehouse experience needed **
** Must be dependable **
Daily job duties to include:
-Daily inspection of crane to ensure its safety
-Transporting materials to and from storage areas, workstations, load and unload trucks, and within areas of assignment
-Locate material based on production information
- Pull material from storage, ensure accuracy and transfer to machine storage area or to equipment as needed
-Move material from machines to packaging and scales
-Must have experience of proper stacking of master steel coils
-Must have experience with removing and replacing slitter heads and scrap from hoppers
-Maintain up-to-date crane training (provided)
-Communicate safety concerns and quality problems to supervisor and/or shift lead
Job Type: Full-time
