What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist position at Andersonville Physical Therapy?
Andersonville Physical Therapy is a vibrant clinic in the Edgewater/Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago, just steps from the Red line and the Lakefront. We are seeking a full time Physical Therapist to serve a diverse community and work with a team of 9 PT's with a wide array of experience and specialties.
We treat a wide variety of patients for orthopedic, post surgical, chronic pain, pelvic dysfunction, and hypermobility/hEDS. We prioritize continuing education for the entire team so that everyone is learning and growing together as professionals.
Lifelong learning and communication are top priorities. We have weekly team meetings to foster collaborative care and learning from one another. Andersonville PT cares about your health and well-being. We aspire to offer a safe, healing environment for you to provide autonomous high quality care to your patients. All patient treatments are 1:1. We do not utilize aids or assistants. Your time with patients is yours and PT's treat a maximum of 10 patients per day.
We have been serving Andersonville/Edgewater since 1999 and have a strong reputation in our community. With an emphasis on communication and learning, our team works together to provide high quality care to our patients.
We're seeking a candidate ideally with at least one year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, though this is not required, as new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience with, or a desire to treat, the hypermobility/hEDS patient population is a plus, but also not required.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy
- 0 to 3 years of treatment experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
