Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy, attractive turf.
- Maintain landscape features including planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and caring for gardens.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like digging, planting, and landscape installation.
- Use equipment such as zero turn, chainsaws, snowblowers, and power washers.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth.
- Conduct landscape maintenance routines including hardscape work like patio or walkway installation and repair.
- Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal to ensure safety and aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools.
- Experience with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects is a plus.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
