What We’re Looking For:
- We’re hiring experienced Cable Plow Operators for fiber installation projects. This role is focused on installing conduit and fiber efficiently while maintaining depth, alignment, and avoiding utility conflicts.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cable plow for installation of fiber conduit and duct
- Maintain consistent depth and alignment over long production runs
- Follow bore/plow paths and job layouts with minimal supervision
- Identify and safely cross existing underground utilities
- Communicate with locator and ground crew during installation
- Perform basic site prep and assist with right-of-way work as needed
- Monitor ground conditions and adjust operation for safe, clean installs
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Requirements:
- 2 years cable plow experience in fiber or underground utilities
- Proven ability to maintain production while avoiding utility damage
- Experience reading locates, maps, and plow paths
- Strong understanding of depth control and installation quality
- Ability to work in fast-paced, production-driven environments
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL required
- Able to pass drug screen and background check
