Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician travels to customer or rental fleet locations to inspect, service, maintain, and repair the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of Anderson Hydra Platforms. This role is also responsible for providing on-site training to customers and operators, conducting annual equipment inspections, and ensuring all work meets company safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunction.
- Dismantle machinery and equipment to access, repair, or replace defective electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic components.
- Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, leaks, damage, misalignment, or other mechanical problems.
- Realign, adjust, or replace components such as limit switches, orifices, cylinders, motors, and brakes.
- Lubricate and clean parts; replace or repair hydraulic and air lines as necessary.
- Use metalworking tools, including welding equipment, to make necessary repairs.
- Initiate purchase orders for parts and materials required to complete repairs or inspections.
- Start and operate machines to test performance following service or repair.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance logs for all equipment worked on.
- Provide customer training on operation, safety, and maintenance procedures.
- Perform annual equipment inspections and submit required reports.
- Perform all duties safely and in compliance with company, OSHA, and DOT requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with solid working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Basic welding skills (stick welding preferred).
- Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
