Duties
- Monitor premises continuously using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and enforce security protocols.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors; authorize entry and exit in accordance with company policies.
- Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency responders arrive.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or safety concerns for record-keeping and follow-up.
Experience
- Proven background in law enforcement, military service, or private security roles with relevant armed security experience.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and legal regulations related to armed security operations.
