Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues, implementing security measures, and monitoring system performance to ensure reliable access to instructional and administrative tools. The specialist provides responsive technical support to staff and faculty, assists with technology deployments and upgrades, and documents procedures and configurations. This position collaborates with instructional and administrative teams to align technology solutions with educational goals and district policies.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology principles, including operating systems, hardware, software, and cloud-based tools.
- Experience with Network Administration and Network Security, including configuration, monitoring, and protection of wired and wireless networks.
- Proven Troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues related to devices, applications, and connectivity.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to support educators and staff in a clear, patient, and professional manner.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Security , or equivalent) and experience in K–12 or educational environments are beneficial.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work both independently and in a team, and maintain accurate documentation of systems and support activities.
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
