Pay: $20.00 per hour based on experience
Position Summary:
The Drain Install Apprentice supports the installation of drainage and waste systems, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, code-compliant work in an efficient manner. This role plays a key part in upholding the company's reputation for excellence in workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in residential and commercial drain and waste system installations, ensuring adherence to all local and national codes.
- Support service calls, providing clear communication and exceptional customer service to help clients understand their options and make informed decisions about services and products.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Crew Leader and team on assigned tasks and job duties.
- Participate in scheduled safety meetings and required company/vendor training sessions.
- Maintain any required licenses or certifications relevant to the role.
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times—both on job sites and when operating company vehicles.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Basic tool knowledge
- Prior construction or trades experience preferred
- Prior pipe coating and lining experience preferred
- Excellent customer interaction skills
- Can lift up to 50 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices), carry ladders, work from heights, work in small crawl spaces
